OVERVIEW
I currently volunteer as a graphic designer for an online magazine named Dolce, aimed at highlighting female creatives. We accept submissions from people all around the world in prose, poetry, photography, or any other creative expression and compile it in our magazine for all to read. We are currently in the works for our first issue but I am excited to be a part of something amazing. You can find us on Instagram under @dolcezine.
FIRST ISSUE IG POST
This was my first project with Dolce. We aimed to create something based off the theme of "Mirror, Mirror". In short, "Mirror, Mirror" traces the ever-changing silhouette of girlhood through the lens of self-perception, identity, and reinvention. it is a meditation on the mirror gaze, the digital gaze, and the eyes of others, on the way we edit ourselves to fit, and the quiet rebellions where we don’t. Taking this, my mind drifted to preforming and being perceived, by others or ourselves.
